Our Mission & Values

Deliver the Captives Church was founded in 2011, by Pastor Samy Koli to serve the only living God and proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in deliverance for a simple reason; Christ taught us to do so. I strongly believe that to be "Saved" is to be assured of a place in Heaven but to be "delivered" is to have liberty and freedom from the oppression and bondage that the enemy exerts on us even as Christians.
In Christ's own words in the·synagogue·at Nazareth; "The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." Luke 4:18
Again in Christ's own words "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;"
Mark 16:15-1

Meet Our Pastor

Rev. Samy Koli

Pastor Samy Koli is the 4th of a family of 13 children. He was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and moved to the United States to study engineering. Right after he completed his program, he got a call to serve God. The Lord told him, “I will make you an engineer of deliverance.” He headed the deliverance ministry at Bethel World Church for eight years, then joined the Apostolic Alliance and was ordained as a pastor in 2009.
Anointed in the ministry of prayer, healing, and deliverance, his teaching and ministry have touched countless lives in a dramatically life-changing way for over a decade. Pastor Samy Koli believes strongly that aggressive, confrontational, and strategic prayer is the missing key in the Church for the rapid expansion of the Kingdom of God on the earth.
Pastor Samy is married to his lovely wife Chantal, and they have two children.

Women's Ministry

Our vision is to empower, educate, enlighten, and equip women to take positive action while finding fulfillment in their God-given roles as mothers, wives, sisters, leaders, and enablers. We are committed to providing practical and spiritual support that aligns with the mission of Deliver the Captives—setting the captives free by enabling women to experience restoration, transformation, and progression through deliverance and spiritual warfare, as declared in Obadiah 1:17. Our aim is to motivate women to stand together in unity within their own homes, lifting our voices in prayer for personal matters, the church, and the nation. Grounded in Ephesians 6:18, 1 Timothy 2:1–2, and Philippians 4:6–7, we unite in faith to intercede effectively and walk in the peace and victory God has promised.
